Rai Foundation is pleased to
inform that All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has awarded
one-time approval to its Faridabad (Meadows) campus for all the courses
of erstwhile-Rai University. It's a big sigh of relief for 1497 students
pursuing various engineering programs at the campus. The approval has
come as a solution to the problem of derecognition of technical courses
due to February 11, 2005 directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of
India to nullify all universities set up under the Chhatisgarh Niji
Kshetra Vishwidyalaya Adhiniyum 2002.
The approval has come in recognition to the continuous efforts made by
Rai Foundation to safeguard the interest of the students. Regional
Director Rai Foundation Major General Subrata Ghosh, VSM (Retd.) said, "The
approval shows great empathy of the central controlling bodies towards
education. The students, parents, faculty members and management of Rai
Foundation are extremely grateful to AICTE and Maharishi Dayanand
University for their caring attitude." He further added that we
thank the parents and the students for their fortitude, self-belief and
faith in Rai Foundation. Upbeat over the approval, Maj. Gen. Ghosh
reiterated Rai Foundation's commitment towards education and superior
academic delivery.
Based on the recommendation of the expert committee of AICTE; the
approval is for Bachelor and Master Degree programs in Business
Administration, Biotechnology, Computer Application, Computer Science,
Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and
Communication for the period 2002-2009.
