This year, seven students of College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHAT) are placed in the UK and many more are waiting for visa processing, with work permits and jobs in hand. CHAT, under the aegis of Rai Foundation, trains professionals for the hospitality industry. Jai Vardhan Dutt – who is going to the UK like many other CHAT students – says, “I joined CHAT with a dream to become a professional in the hospitality industry. Now, I’m going to the UK as Trainee Manager; it’s like getting more than what I dreamt of.”

On this year’s placements Mr. Mahesh Langoo, Placement Officer-CHAT, said CHAT students got international exposure, professional training and good money (http://www.raifoundation.org/rfc/alumni.htm) CHAT students are working with leading hotels abroad: Ramada Hotel, Belfast, Ireland, Marriott-Renaissance Reading Hotel, UK, Court House Hotel, UK, Park Hall Hotel Leeds, UK, Thistle Group of Hotels, UK, etc.
