The paper "Sago Starch: An Economical Substitute for Invitro Primary screening of Starch Utilising Microorganisms" of Bio-Engineering Research Centre (BERC) students has been accepted for publication in the national journal Current Science. BERC is a part of Rai Foundation and center of excellence in the field of bioengineering. Dean BERC Mumbai, Ms. Piyali Kar congratulated the team effort in brining out this paper and said, “It’s a proud day at Rai Foundation that students’ effort got recognition from such a well-known journal.”

The Paper was completed at BERC, Mumbai by a group of B.Tech Biotechnology students under the guidance of Ms. Binky R. Bhaumik. The authors of the paper are Binky R. Bhaumik, Saikiran Reddy, Umesh Pandey, Yogesh Jadhav, Tushar Saxena & Dr Syed Akhtar.
