Rai
Foundation Colleges are part of a non- governmental
initiative in India, founded in 2002 with the vision of
providing vocationally oriented education to the masses,
irrespective of the economic/social or academic
background of the student. The mission of Rai Foundation
is to provide an equal educational opportunity for all
aspiring students wanting to achieve their professional
career goals.
Rai Foundation is committed to
generating, disseminating, preserving knowledge and
working with others to bring this knowledge to bear on
the world's great challenges. It is dedicated to
providing its students with an education that combines
rigorous academic study with the support and
intellectual stimulation of a diverse campus
community.
At RFC, the aim is to shorten the
distance between the process of education to the
purpose of education. It envisions in creating leaders
who inspire a vision, winners who set positive
paradigms of action and achievers who have the will
and the strength to make a small difference to the
larger cause of humanity.
Rai Foundation Colleges curriculum is
based on the needs of Indian industry. Through
constant dialogue with industry leaders, RFC have been
able to streamline its academic approach in order to
give students the necessary knowledge and disposition
to succeed in the cutthroat corporate environment.
Since its inception RFC has grown considerably both in
terms of the number of students enrolled and a
pan-India network of campuses located all around the
country. |

Asymmetric Global Learning in
Participatory Mode |

The Rai Global Spark Lecture Series
is an open dissemination of knowledge and information.
This high-profile project with RFC is a vote for
India's brainpower over other Asian nations. America
and Europe’s best brains from academia would
work with local talent here at Rai Foundation to
bridge the digital divide between the developing and
the developed countries. The initiative has clearly
manifested the saying that 'Knowledge triumphs in
openness.' It really opens up a 'huge vault' of
knowledge to people all over the world and especially
in India, courtesy Rai Foundation, who just want to
know or learn something - to be knowledgable. It is
really a very 'unthinkable' noble effort.
The Rai Global Spark Lecture Series
in India at various Rai Foundation Colleges and public
realms will include speakers from all disciplines be
it from the Management, Sciences and Technology, and
take between eminent Professors from the US and UK,
Professionals and students. Through an arresting
intellectual discourse between leading thinkers in
India and of that of the leading Universities abroad,
RFC looks forward to a lively ongoing public dialogue
where one can engage in some of the most important
scientific, political, social, business as well as
arts-related issues of contemporary India vis-à-vis
leading developed countries. Both look forward to
starting and fostering meaningful dialogues between
people who want to be part of some of the central
debates in contemporary India. |
