At the meeting of the academic council of the Pandit Ravi Shanker Shukla University in Raipur, the council sought more time for affiliating the interim institutions by asking for clarifications from all the applicant institutions including Rai Foundation. Newspapers are reporting all kinds of distorted versions of this. we wish to state clearly that the Chhattisgarh Govt has not taken any final decision and only discussions are taking place currently.

However in anticipation of the apparent delays expected from the Govt of Chhattisgarh and the University, Rai Foundation had moved the High Court of Chhattisgarh on 19th April seeking early implementation of the Supreme Court directive of protecting the interest of all the students studying in all its campuses and centres.

The Hon' High Court was pleased to admit our appeal and directed the govt to submit to them by 25th April all the actions that they have taken to protect the interest of students. Since the matter is now in court we do expect a positive firm early action by the Government and the courts to protect the interest of all the students in their getting proper legal degrees. In the oft chance we do not get expeditious action  we have prepared our case to move the Hon' Supreme Court as well.

All students, please be rest assured we will do all possible to ensure that the interest of all our students in all our campuses and centres are protected as per the directive of the Hon' Supreme Court .We will ensure that their directions are implemented at the earliest, as we are with the students that too much time has been lost by the State Govt in implementing properly the directions of the Hon' Supreme Court.
