Rai Foundation welcomes New Reservation clause
for Private Colleges
Rai Foundation in a positive gesture warmly welcomes the Union Cabinet's decision to move a Constitutional Amendment to introduce a new fifth clause in Article 15, explicitly providing for Quotas in Educational Institutions.
Strongly supporting the decision Ms Nymph Kaul, the Executive Director - Marketing and Communications at Rai Foundation said, "Education is a fundamental right which should be accessible to everyone. We welcome this encouraging initiative by the UPA government. It is a long overdue for the underprivileged section of the society and should have come before the jobs quota clause announced by the government." Adding a word of advice she said, "High quality academic delivery should be an innate adage which every government should abide to, keeping in mind that the quality of education needs to audited for a better and literate India."
