Bringing laurels with a never-say-die spirit the Department of Biotech at Rai Foundation Colleges Kochi, participated in a National level Technical Festival, SAMANWAYAM - 06 organized by Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Pattoor on the 07 March 06.

Students of Rai Foundation treaded ahead a lot of prestigious teams from institutions like IIT, Chennai etc and brought success to be relished.

Students brought laurels by bagging prizes in following events:

1. Concept Presentation on Biotechnology 2050--Intuitions and Predictions
   
   1. Ms Neha BTech IV Sem - first place (Rs 5000/-)
   2. Ms Arya BTech IV Sem - first place (Rs 5000/-)
2. Poster Competition
   Ms Priya Varghese, BTech VI Sem  - third place (Rs 1000/-)
   

Prior to this, students also participated in an inter college Quiz conducted by SIO at Abad, and Chullickal on 23 Feb 06.

Students Unni S Nair (BTech IV) and Kashyap Gopan (BTech VI) entered the finals and emerged as one of the eight teams amongst the thirty teams that participated in the All Kerala event.
